For more than 25 years, I have divided my life between editing and directing. My films have been presented at several international festivals and have received numerous awards. In 2011, It's Nothing was selected at the Cannes Film Festival, and in 2021, Wars entered competition at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, where Éléonore Loiselle received the award for Best Actress.
I'm currently developing my next feature film.
I direct and edit films with an assertive visual language, anchored in tension, silence and observation. What I cut matters as much as what I keep. My approach is based on rigour, listening and precision.
For the past few years, I have also been accompanying other artists and creators. I offer one-off support to clarify a project: text, pitch, intention, exhibition...
An outsider's view, precise and straightforward, to get to the point.
At the same time, I am developing photographic work, mainly in film.
My images explore states of tension, figures of passage, presences in withdrawal.
They don't tell stories. They look for what remains, what resists, what fades away.
